The Penguins have signed 2018 draft pick Filip Hallander to a three-year, entry-level deal.
Terms of the deal were not announced. Hallander, 18, was selected with the 58th overall pick in June’s draft.
The Penguins said the 6-foot-1, 190-pound forward will spend next season with Timra IK of the Swedish Hockey League. He played for the team last season as part of the Allsvenskan League, where he tallied 20 points in 40 games.
