The Penguins have assigned winger Conor Sheary to their farm team in Wilkes-Barre.
He has three goals and two assists in 27 NHL games this season.
Sheary sustained an unspecified injury during the Penguins' 4-1 victory against Winnipeg Saturday, but team officials said it was minor.
