The Penguins have re-assigned forward Joseph Blandisi to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, the Jim Rutherford announced on Saturday.
Blandisi was recalled on Nov. 16 after Nick Bjugstad was injured, and played that night against the Maple Leafs and on Nov. 19 against the Islanders. He recorded two shots, two hits, one blocked shot, and no points in those games. He was scratched the last two games after Patric Hornqvist returned.
Blandisi has now had two recalls to Pittsburgh this season, and has a combined one goal and one assist in nine games.
