Penguins scout Krissy Wendell-Pohl elected to Hockey Hall of Fame

Krissy Wendell-Pohl, an amateur scout for the Pittsburgh Penguins, has been elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Wendell-Pohl was among seven people to be elected into the Hall of Fame on Tuesday.

During her playing career, Wendell-Pohl played for Team USA from 1999 to 2007.

Between the Olympics and World Championships, she won one gold medal, six silver medals, and one bronze medal during her international career.
