Penguins' Rutherford gets new contract, Lovejoy goes to New Jersey

The Penguins have re-signed rugged winger Tom Sestito to a one-year, two-way contract.

The deal is worth $575,000 if Sestito plays in the NHL.

Sestito, 28, appeared in four games with the Penguins in 2015-16, recording one assist.

He had five goals, nine assists and 104 penalty minutes in 41 games with the Penguins’ American Hockey League affiliate in Wilkes-Barre.
