Penguins Recall Tom Sestito and Tristan Jarry from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton

The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Tom Sestito and goaltender Tristan Jarry from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.

Sestito, 28, has played in four NHL games with Pittsburgh this season, totaling one assist. He has 14 points (5G-9A) in 41 AHL contests with WBS.

Jarry, 20, helped the WBS Penguins wrap up an AHL-best 14th-straight playoff berth, going 17-13-3 with a 2.69 goals-against average, .905 save percentage and five shutouts in 33 games.

Jarry, who was the Penguins’ top draft pick in 2013 (2nd round; 44th overall), ranks fourth in the AHL and first among rookies with five shutouts.
