The Penguins have recalled center Oskar Sundqvist from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, the team announced Friday.
Sundqvist has not seen NHL action this season, but has 16 goals and 23 assists in 53 games in the AHL.
Sundqvist, 22, made his NHL debut for the Penguins last season, playing 18 regular season games with one goal and three assists. He also appeared in two playoff games.
The Penguins play the Edmonton Oilers Friday night at 9 p.m.
