The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Tom Sestito from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.
Sestito played in two games with Pittsburgh last month, recording two penalty minutes during his first stint with the team.
This season, Sestito has appeared in 41 games with WBS, totaling 14 points (5G-9A) and 104 penalty minutes.
The Penguins visit the Washington Capitals tonight at 7 p.m. at the Verizon Center. A win would give the Penguins home-ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs.
