The Penguins have recalled center Jean-Sebastien Dea from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, the team announced Monday.
Dea was sent down Friday to get some minor-league work in during the NHL All-Star break. He played one game for Wilkes-Barre, scoring a goal in a 4-3 win against Binghamton Saturday. Dea now has 10 goals and 14 assists in 37 AHL games this season.
Dea has played in the Penguins’ past four games as the team’s fourth-line center, and has one goal — his first in the NHL — during that stretch.
The Penguins practice Monday afternoon, and have their first game back from the All-Star break Tuesday against San Jose.
