The Penguins reassigned forwards Josh Archibald and Oskar Sundqvist to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Thursday morning.
Archibald was a healthy scratch during a 4-0 loss at Philadelphia on Wednesday because Matt Cullen returned from a three-game absence due to a lower-body injury.
Reassigning Sundqvist means the Penguins are comfortable with Tom Sestito to round out their forward group until Patric Hornqvist returns from a concussion.
Sestito is eligible to return from a four-game suspension Friday against the Devils at PPG Paints Arena.
