The Penguins have re-signed restricted free-agent wingers Dominik Simon and Daniel Sprong to two-year contracts, the team announced Monday.
Both deals are one-way contracts, which carry an average annual value of $750,000, and run through 2020.
Simon, 23, played in 33 regular-season games last season, with four goals and eight assists. He also saw action in eight of the team's 12 playoff games, putting up three assists.
Sprong, 21, set a Wilkes-Barre/Scranton rookie record with 32 goals in 2017-18. That figure also led all AHL rookies. He played in eight NHL games in early January, including an explosive three-point performance against the Islanders on Jan.
