Penguins Re-Assign Oskar Sundqvist to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton

The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned forward Oskar Sundqvist to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.

Sundqvist, 21, appeared in 10 regular-season games with Pittsburgh, including his NHL debut on Feb. 5 at Tampa Bay. He earned his first NHL point in Boston on Feb. 24 when he assisted Tom Kuhnhackl’s goal.
