As the postgame celebration of the Penguins’ back-to-back Stanley Cup titles erupted throughout the city, especially on South Side, one image that captured the absurdity of it all went viral. A man wearing glasses and a Penguins shirt holding a raw, dead catfish like corn on the cob, taking a big bite.
That man is A.J. Alleyne, 22, of Philadelphia — a 2017 graduate of Point Park and, yes, a Flyers fan.
Q: So what’s your story, A.J.? You’re not actually from here originally?
A: No, I’m from Philly. And I’m a Flyers fan, as well (laugh).
