The Penguins will hold the club’s annual prospect development camp July 14-18 at Consol Energy Center, the team announced today. The week will end with a 3 p.m. practice July 18 open to the public that includes “controlled scrimmage situations.”
The roster of 37 players is highlighted by defenseman Derrick Pouliot, forward Oskar Sundqvist, goalie Matt Murray and all four of the team’s 2015 draft picks. It includes 23 forwards, 10 defensemen and four goalies.
Mike Sullivan, the new coach in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, will direct the camp. Wheeling Nailers head coach Clark Donatelli and Penguins goaltender development coach Mike Buckley will assist.
