CALGARY, Alberta — Penguins winger Pascal Dupuis, who was hospitalized in Edmonton for a few hours Friday, accompanied his teammates here for their game against Calgary at the Scotiabank Saddledome tonight.
He also is scheduled to fly home with them Sunday.
“There’s no status update until we get to Pittsburgh,” coach Mike Johnston said this evening. “Then they’ll do the tests they need to do.”
Dupuis was sent to a hospital after experiencing undisclosed symptoms that might have been related to blood-clot issues that forced him to sit out most of last season.
Johnston said subsequently that those test results were “negative.
