Penguins winger Beau Bennett is a candidate for a promotion to the first line.
Bennett was slotted at right wing, alongside center Sidney Crosby and left winger Pascal Dupuis on the top line Monday morning at practice.
Bennett, who has two goals and one assist in nine games, has noticeable jump in his game.
“[Crosby is] such a smart player, plays fast. I’m faster this year, so kind of better suited to jump up and make that transition,” Bennett said. “I just feel a lot better this year. It’s been good.
