The Penguins have a replacement for Steve Mears. Mears, who joined the Blue Jackets this summer as their new television play by play announcer, will be replaced in the Pittsburgh radio booth by newcomer Joe Brand.
The Penguins have named Joe Brand the radio play-by-play voice of the Penguins Radio Network.
