Mike Sullivan wasn’t shy Saturday night about voicing his criticism regarding Brian Dumoulin’s disallowed goal in the Penguins’ 5-2 loss to Toronto.
But when he woke up Sunday morning, he didn’t have much time to stew on it.
Less than 24 hours after the Penguins were done packing up their locker room at the Air Canada Centre, they were getting ready for Sunday night’s game against the Stars at PPG Paints Arena.
While the loss to the Maple Leafs was certainly emotional, the Penguins had no choice but to turn the page quickly.
“I think at this time of year, where everyone’s in a playoff mindset already, the stakes are high, everybody’s fighting for a playoff spot and every point is critically important,” Sullivan said before the game Sunday.
