If Matt Hunwick had any reluctance about jumping back into the speed and physicality of an NHL game after five weeks out of the action, it didn’t show much on Saturday night.
Hunwick, who was playing his first game back after missing 15 contests with a concussion, blocked a game-high six shots and scored the Penguins’ lone goal in their 2-1 loss to Chicago.
“Felt good, to be honest with you,” Hunwick said. “I know it’s been five weeks, but I felt pretty sharp. I thought my legs were good tonight and overall I felt pretty good for being off that long.
