Rosters will take shape for the 2016 World Cup of Hockey today, and are expected to include several Penguins.
Evgeni Malkin was named to Russia's team by the Russian Ice Hockey Federation this morning, and defenseman Olli Maatta was named to Finland's team.
Several other Penguins are expected to get the nod as rosters are announced throughout the day today, ending with Canada at 6:05 p.m. and USA at 6:45 p.m.
The tournament will be held next September in Toronto.
