EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- Penguins defenseman Kris Letang is questionable for tomorrow's game against the L.A. Kings, but the club is optimistic Olli Maatta will return, coach Mike Johnston said this afternoon.
Letang was not on the ice for Penguins practice today. He left practice early on Thursday because of a lingering injury.
Maatta has not been officially cleared yet, Johnston said, but he had two good practices and appears ready to rejoin the team.
Maatta has been sidelined since Nov. 18 when a shove from behind sent him crashing into the boards and hospitalized him for one night.
