Penguins getting scoring help from all corners of lineup

Penguins winger Eric Fehr crashed the net so hard when he scored just 69 seconds into Game 4 Thursday night in New York, he knocked the goal off its moorings.

His body came to a stop only because of the end boards that separated him from the people in the seats of Section 102 at Madison Square Garden.

Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist stopped the first shot by defenseman Ben Lovejoy, but a rebound darted from the goaltender’s chest, to just above the crease where Fehr rifled it into the netting.

Just like that, the Penguins took a 1-0 lead in Game 4 of their first-round playoff series en route to a 5-0 win and a 3-1 Eastern Conference series lead against the New York Rangers.
