Ten high school graduates have been awarded scholarships from the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation.
Each PPF scholarship is valued at $3,000 for the student’s first year of college.
An $2,000 is available for the second year of college if a 3.0 GPA is maintained and a minimum of 24 credit hours are earned.
The following students have received scholarships this year:

- Caroline McDevitt - Penn Hills - Penn State University @ Erie
- Kendall McKelvey - Northgate - Oberlin College
- Leah Spencer - Cornell - Staffordshire University @ UK
- Isabella Ruston - Steel Valley - Penn State University
- Ava Rose Waleko - Pittsburgh Science & Technology - American University @ DC
The Penguins Foundation has awarded nearly 175 scholarships over the past decade in partnership with UPMC.
