This Pittsburgh Penguins loss to the New York Rangers, like Thanos in the Marvel Universe, was inevitable. Those, like Jim and myself, and anyone willing to take off the rose-colored glasses and really look at this team could see the rotting bones beneath this whited sepulcher. Despite high profile players like Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and Kris Letang, our Penguins were never a true Stanley Cup contender.
