Penguins coach Johnston: 'I'm glad players were upset'

The Penguins attempted to move forward Monday, 48 hours after a closed-door, players-only meeting capped the team’s ugliest night of the season in New Jersey.

Players insisted there is no divide in the room, but that a clearing of the air was needed to shake off an 0-2 slide where effort was called into question.

“Some stuff had to be said. That’s got to stay between the players,” said veteran winger Pascal Dupuis.
