Penguins Announce Roster Moves

The Pittsburgh Penguins have made a pair of roster moves, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.

Forward Tom Kostopoulos was assigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League (AHL) and forward Jaden Lindo was assigned to Owen Sound of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL).

Kostopoulos suited up for Pittsburgh’s exhibition opener, a 1-0 shootout win on Sept. 21 at Columbus. Lindo did not appear in any preseason contests, but did score once at the rookie tournament in London, Ontario earlier this month.

The Penguins’ training camp roster now has 51 players (30 forwards; 17 defensemen; 4 goaltenders).
