Patrik Allvin has been promoted to the role of assistant general manager with the Penguins.
Allvin is going into his 15th season with the team, having started as a European scout back before the start of the the 2006-07 season.
Allvin’s most recent role with the team was as the director of amateur scouting from 2017-20.
“Patrik has made a lot of contributions during his 14 years with Pittsburgh, and has proven to be a valuable asset for us,” Rutherford said in a press release. “We’ve been impressed with his hockey knowledge and work ethic, and I look forward to working more closely with him.
