Penguins add AHL depth; sign David Warsofsky and Andrew Agozzino

The Penguins started their free agent frenzy by signing Brandon Tanev to a massive six-year, $21 million contract earlier today. Now that GM Jim Rutherford has made his big splash, he has turned his attention to giving the organization more depth in the form of AHLers David Warsofsky and Andrew Agozzino.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed defenseman David Warsofsky and forward Andrew Agozzino to two-year contracts, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.

The two-way deals both carry an average annual value of $700,000 at the NHL level.
