Paul Zeise: The Penguins' problem is goal scoring, not goaltending

Marc-Andre Fleury gave up four goals in less than 13 minutes Wednesday in the Penguins’ 5-1 loss to Ottawa in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference final. Fleury was replaced by Matt Murray, who only gave up one goal the rest of the game.

And now there is a good old-fashioned goaltending controversy, right? We need to know who will start in goal in Game 4 Friday. Is this the end for Fleury? Has Murray reclaimed his job?

All very interesting questions, and all completely irrelevant.

The goaltending isn’t what Penguins fans should be talking about.
