BOSTON — Penguins officials like to say they have two No. 1 goalies and, by most measures and metrics, that is true.
But the way they’ve been distributing their goaltending workload lately isn’t one of them.
Coach Mike Sullivan said Thursday that Matt Murray will make his sixth consecutive start, and seventh in eight games, when the Penguins face Boston tonight at 7:08 at TD Garden.
Marc-Andre Fleury hasn’t played since a 6-3 loss in Detroit Jan. 14.
“We’ve liked what Matt has done here,” Sullivan said. “We feel like he’s gone on a little bit of a roll.
