Yale forward Luke Stevens and Sherbrooke Phoenix forward Felix Robert were both officially signed to one-year AHL contracts for the 2020-21 season, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton announced on Thursday morning.
It was reported on Monday that 23-year-old Stevens, son of former Penguin and current Penguins scout Kevin Stevens, would sign with the Penguins. Here's our story on Stevens from Monday. Stevens, 6-foot-4 and 215 pounds, was originally a fifth-round pick of the Hurricanes in 2015 but hit free agency after not signing by Saturday's deadline.
It was reported by multiple Quebec outlets earlier this week that 21-year-old Robert, who was Samuel Poulin's center in the QMJHL, would be signing an AHL contract with the Penguins.
