Tickets to the Penguins’ Sept. 19 exhibition game against the Buffalo Sabres at Penn State’s Pegula Ice Arena have sold out ahead of a public sale scheduled for Aug. 1, the university announced Thursday.
“Due to an overwhelming demand during the men’s hockey season ticket holder right-of-first-refusal period and the Nittany Lion Club pre-sale, the NHL preseason game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Buffalo Sabres, presented by the Centre County Visitors Bureau, will not be available during the public ticket sale on Tuesday, Aug. 1,” the press release said.
Student tickets to the game will be made available Aug.
