Goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury is more than familiar with new left winger Carl Hagelin.
While with the Rangers, Hagelin scored a series-clinching overtime goal in Game 5 of a 2-1 home win against the Penguins in the first round of the 2015 playoffs.
“Yeah,” Fleury grumbled when reminded of the goal. “I know.”
The Penguins acquired Hagelin early Saturday morning in a trade which sent left winger David Perron and defenseman Adam Clendening to the Anaheim Ducks.
“He’s tough,” Fleury said. “He’ll be good though for us. He’s a good player. He’s a fast player. He’s got some skill.
