WASHINGTON — The Penguins this morning recalled defenseman David Warsofsky from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and reassigned goaltender Tristan Jarry to their AHL affiliate.
The moves say a couple things.
One, Matt Murray will return to the lineup tonight against the Capitals. He had been out since Dec. 28 with a lower-body injury but practiced the past two days.
"It responded really well," Murray said after yesterday's practice. "Pushed it pretty hard again. That was the best skate I’ve had so far, the best I’ve felt so far."
The Penguins skate at Verizon Center at 11:30 a.m., when we'll learn more about their goaltending plans for the 8 p.
