Move over, Joe Namath.
Ahead of the Penguins’ Game 7 of the Eastern Conference final at 8 p.m. tonight, restaurant Bella Luna Trattoria in Monroeville is guaranteeing a playoff victory, and unlike Namath, there’s more riding on it than a silver trophy.
An idea hatched by Bella Luna owner Kevin MacFadden, the Italian-American restaurant is offering refunds on all non-alcohol purchases if the Penguins fail to defeat the Tampa Bay Lightning at Consol Energy Center.
The promotion will last all day, and if the Penguins do lose, customers can bring in their receipt by June 2 and receive a refund for the price of the food.
