The Steelers got throttled by San Francisco on Sunday in all three phases. It really wasn’t even a fair fight. The 49ers clearly made it known that they are not only the better football team, but one of the best in the league.
Is this a sign of things to come for the Steelers? Or is it just a one off against an excellent 49ers squad? Who is to say for sure.
Other than T.J. Watt, who was simply outstanding with three sacks, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery, were there any other Steelers who played anything close to average in this football game?
