Following last night’s 8-4 loss at the hands of the New York Rangers, the Penguins got a good bit of news regarding the status of forward Evgeni Malkin.
Mike Sullivan provided the latest update on Malkin as well as several others on Wednesday.
Sullivan said that Malkin has skated for the first time since being injured.
Coach Sullivan said Evgeni Malkin skated today for the first time and is making progress with his rehab.
