The 23 players on Team North America have been selected from a pool of the best young hockey players from Canada and the United States. All players from Canada and the United States who are under 23 as of Oct. 1, 2016 (i.e., must have a date of birth on or after Oct. 2, 1992) are available for selection exclusively by Team North America.
Murray, 21, is 2-2-1 in five appearances with the Penguins this season. He has posted a .933 save percentage and 1.98 goals-against average. Murray earned his first NHL win on Dec. 21 against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
