If all goes well in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference final Thursday night, Penguins goalie Matt Murray will be celebrating both his birthday and a second consecutive Stanley Cup bid.
Murray turned 23 Thursday, right as he prepares to start in goal for the Penguins in the deciding game against the Ottawa Senators. Murray is hoping to do everything in his power to have a happier birthday than Senators goalie Craig Anderson had earlier this week.
Anderson turned 36 Sunday, as his Senators took on the Penguins in Game 5 at PPG Paints Arena.
