LOS ANGELES — Three hockey players generally recognized as the best to play the game sat next to each other Friday afternoon at J.W. Marriott in downtown.
Before the NHL unveiled its list of the top 100 players to play the game as part of the league’s centennial celebration, Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux and Bobby Orr shared what it meant to be a part of that rich history.
“We’re like little kids,” Gretzky said. “We’re having more fun than anybody. To be part of this with all the other guys back there, it’s been really a great honor to be here.
