The NHL’s salary cap, calculated off revenue splits, has finally recovered from the pandemic years. The 2024-25 season will see the cap’s upper limit increase meaningfully for the first time in years. The limit was $81.5 million in 2019-20 and only rose to $83.3 million by the 2023-24 season.
