Looking at Evgeni Malkin’s place in hockey history on his 38th birthday

Let’s pause to celebrate one of the greatest hockey players of all time today on the occasion of Evgeni Malkin’s 38th birthday. Malkin has given no shortage of electric moments in his career, this slapshot playoff short-handed goal against the Flyers is always a great memory.

Happy Birthday to Evgeni Malkin. I was in attendance for this game, D20 I believe. One of the loudest reactions I’ve ever heard in that arena. One of my favorite goals in team history. pic.twitter.com/GJ1sVAi0aL
