Letang's teammates concerned over his latest injury

DETROIT – Kris Letang could be back Monday. Or he could miss a month. Maybe more.

Penguins coach Mike Sullivan didn’t have an update on the status of Letang, who appeared to hurt his left knee at 3:21 of the first period Saturday, took one more shift then called it a night.

What’s much more clear is that Letang’s teammates are concerned for his well-being.

“He’s such an important player for us,” Matt Cullen said. “Obviously it’s a big concern. He does so many things for us. He’s one of our very most important players. You hope he’s OK.
