Letang scheduled to play tonight when Penguins face Toronto

Penguins defenseman Kris Letang is scheduled to return to the lineup for tonight’s home game against the Maple Leafs.

After being struck in the head by Wild center Jarret Stoll during the third period of Saturday’s 3-1 road win, Letang was held out of Sunday’s 1-0 road loss to the Jets for what was described as precautionary reasons when he reported not feeling well. Following today’s morning skate, Letang described his symptoms as “hard headaches.”

After Letang, who has a history of concussions, participated in Tuesday’s practice in Cranberry, coach Mike Sullivan said there was no concern about Letang’s latest concussion.
