Leadup to Game 2: Penguins focus on 'critically' important crisp puck movement

No one from the Penguins said Wednesday that they don’t want to go 37 minutes between shots during Game 2 of the Stanley Cup final against Nashville.

Mostly because it’s so painfully obvious.

They survived such a stretch during their 5-3 victory in the series opener Monday, but when they face the Predators again Wednesday night at PPG Paints Arena, the Penguins know they almost certainly will have to get more pucks on Nashville goalie Pekka Rinne if they want to take a 2-0 lead in the series.

The first key to doing that is to move the puck quickly out of the defensive zone.
