Kunitz, Crosby rekindle some of their old magic

By Jenn Menendez / Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

NEW YORK — It has been a long time since Chris Kunitz had a game like that.

Kunitz scored on the power play and assisted on two key goals to help the Penguins take Game 2 from the New York Rangers, 4-3, at Madison Square Garden Saturday night and even this Eastern Conference playoff series, 1-1.

Kunitz was reunited with Sidney Crosby, and played on his wing to open the game.

The thinking, presumably, was to get the old gang back together to inspire some playoff magic.

It worked.
