Before Wednesday night, the last time Kris Letang played in a playoff game, it was a Stanley Cup-clinching Game 6 on the road.
OK, that doesn’t exactly make him unique among his Penguins teammates.
But for Letang, it wasn’t last spring in Nashville. His last postseason action came 22 months ago in San Jose, as neck surgery kept him out of the Penguins’ entire Stanley Cup run a year ago.
“I was pretty excited,” Letang said. “Obviously, a little bit of butterflies in my stomach before the game, but when the puck dropped, everything went down.
