A familiar face is helping out this week at Penguins development camp: Kevin Stevens.

The former left wing and two-time 50-goal scorer is on the ice for the first practice session on Wednesday afternoon at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex, wearing the black track suit like all the other coaches and sporting a gray ballcap.

Stevens, 52, has been clean for more than a year after he was arrested on federal drug charges, pleading guilty last December to a pair of charges involving oxycodone.

He was sentenced on May 4 to three years probation, fined $10,000 and ordered to give motivational speeches to raise awareness regarding prescription drugs and addiction.
