The 2017-18 NHL season is coming to an end, and the Metro standings have stayed about the same for a while, but could still change at any moment. The Penguins are currently fighting off the Jackets and Flyers, but the Metro is still within reach to be won by the Penguins. The Penguins have 6 games left to make up 4 points and pass the Capitals for the Metro Banner. It’s not the only banner the Pens are going for, but that would be a nice advantage for the Pens to start the Playoffs with.
