The Penguins pulled off another winning week and find themselves tied with the Hurricanes for third in the Metropolitan, but are currently in the first Wild Card position due to tiebreakers. The Penguins began last week against the Florida Panthers at PPG Paints Arena on Tuesday. The game was tied at two going into overtime before Jake Guentzel scored his 33rd goal of the year, and second of the game, to knock off the Panthers by a final of 3-2 in overtime. Matt Murray added 32 saves to preserve the win for the Penguins in that contest.
